Fullsize Truck Run

A weekend of wheeling, camping, hanging out, and watching a bunch of fullsize trucks squeeze through trails they were never meant to fit on. This is an informal meetup and trail run, not an organized event. No registration and no guides.
All participants are responsible for themselves, their passengers, their vehicles, and their own decisions on and off the trail. Participate at your own risk.

WHO?

Fullsize Focused, All Rigs Welcome

While the weekend is centered around fullsize trucks, anyone is welcome to join. Whether you're driving a Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Toyota, Jeep, buggy, or something that shouldn't be on the Rubicon at all, you're invited. The only requirement is a capable rig, a good attitude, and the understanding that things occasionally get scratched, dented, broken, or all three.

Meet Up Location: Loon Lake Trailhead


One of the most legendary trails in the country and probably one of the worst places to bring a fullsize truck which is exactly why we're doing it. Granite, tight squeezes, incredible views, campfires, and enough obstacles to keep things interesting all weekend.

Lodging/Parking

Parking

Trailer parking is available at Loon Lake in the staging areas and the Chalet View lot. Parking is first come, first serve and can fill up quickly during peak Rubicon season. We recommend arriving early, parking responsibly, and making sure you're not blocking access roads or other trailers.

Lodging

If you're coming from out of town and don't want to make the early morning drive, Georgetown is the closest town with lodging options before heading up to Loon Lake Friday morning. Most are about 45–60 minutes from the Loon Lake trailhead, depending on traffic and how many times you stop for fuel, ice, and breakfast burritos.
